Screw the Boss - Times have gotten hard in my company and it has come time to start laying off employees. I call in one of my associates to give him the bad news that I am laying him off. He pleads with me not to fire him. He goes as far as telling me that he will do anything to keep his job so he can provide for his family. So what is a boss to do? Of course you know, I take his offer and he does what he has to do, and that is to service me. I like good employees.
